A bialy is a moreish bun filled with onion and topped with poppy seeds, and as it comes out of the oven we brush it with lots of butter and finish it off with a little sprinkle of pink salt.

If you have them part baked they need to be brushed with butter once out of the oven and sprinkled with coarse salt.
