New Bagel of the Month - Apple Pie Cinnamon Crunch

We’re deep in the throes of autumn. The clocks have been turned back, the evenings are darker and the weather is getting a little bit nippy - and with all that comes the craving for comfort foods!

Introducing our brand new bagel of the month: the Apple Pie Cinnamon Crunch. This autumnal treat rounds up all of your favourite iconic sweet fall flavours. We’ve combined everything in one to bring you the best November experience that you can gobble up!

It’s the perfect time of year for apple picking, so our apples are deliciously fresh with that crisp-but-warming, tangy flavour which combines perfectly with our beautiful bagel dough. Then, the outside of the bagel is coated in a mouth watering cinnamon crunch, topping off your little snack with an irresistible, aromatic spice evocative of rainy autumn days inside a cafe, or sitting in front of the fireplace with a cup of your favourite hot drink. In fact, we came up with the idea for this bagel while cosying up in our own front room, watching the first auburn leaves fall from the trees outside. We’re lucky to live in a country with deciduous trees, so that we can watch summer transition into one of the most colourful seasons of all.

We’ve used creamy vegan butter in this bagel, so it’s the perfect snack for our plant-based or dairy-free friends to enjoy - we definitely wouldn’t want you to miss out on this! If you like our Vegan Canadian Maple Bacon and Chocolate Chip bagels, you’ll love our new flavour.

CEO of Bagel or Beigel, Poppy, has a say in the choice of our limited edition bagels as always. She has been nibbling on the caramelised apples, and she approves of the flavours! Earlier this week, she said that she would enjoy the Apple Pie Cinnamon Crunch with a glass of milk, but that adults could have it with a cup of coffee in the morning or maybe even a hot toddy at night.

So, aside from your beverage of choice, what else can you pair with November’s Bagel of the Month? Not only is it flavoursome on its own, but it also works especially well with a generous slathering of our plain cream cheese, with a drizzle of honey on top! Think of all of those beautiful textures and flavours - the soft, sweet bagel; the cool cream cheese; and the sticky, saccharine honey. It’s almost too good to keep to yourself (which is why you should order several, just in case of sneaky little hands)!
